    Hi!

I’ve some problems with the language of the strings. For the moment, I’ve set up my website only to Spanish.
The problem is that the strings appear in English. Strings like ” in Categoryname” or “search on site…” should be “en Categoryname” or “Buscar…”

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks you so much

    Hello Juamovi!

As for the translation please check https://poedit.net/download
You can use Poedit and generate translating files and add the translation.

    The instruction:
find your dfd-native.pot file from the folder themes/native/lang. Open it in Poedit, generate .po and .mo files for the necessary language translation. Please check this video https://www.useloom.com/share/8f9c1afe0b78419ca068bc4ffc923075

In this file, you can find the necessary words you need to be translated.
Translate the necessary phrases and please, upload the new po. and .mo files to the folder themes/dfd-native/lang

Please check it and let us know, please.

    Best regards,
    DFD Team

    Hi again!

I’ve just tried what you told me to do but It seems that is not working.

I’ve created a new translation “es.po” from the dfd-native.pot and I’ve uploaded this to the directory themes/natvie/lang

The strings are still in English.

I’m working with a child theme.

What can I do to solve this?

    Thanks.
