Setting Pretty Permalinks

Set the custom structure of the permalinks to have pretty links for your site

Permalinks are the permanent URLs to your individual weblog posts, as well as categories and other lists of weblog postings.

By default, the WordPress permalinks had plain structure, with numbers after the site link, e.g. http://example.com/?p=N, where N is the Post ID number.

It works on all server environments, but it doesn’t look as nice as some of the other options.

In order to avoid ;ugly;links we recommend you to set the custom structure of the permalinks and display much nicer permalinks.

You may find the short instructions below:

  • Naviagte to Settings Permalinks.
  • Select Custom Structure for your site and enter the following structure for the permalinks:

/%category%/%postname%

  • Save the changes after this.
